Outfit – A Whole New World

     A Disneybound princess outfit doesn’t always have to be fancy and over the top! I’ve chosen a very casual look for today’s princess, Jasmine, from ‘Aladdin’. The blue top was an easy choice to match her colour palette, with the details of the straps being perfect for hot desert weather! I went with blue jeans, for a modern and casual vibe (and I don’t own any lighter in colour than these!), finished off with grey Toms, for a lightweight shoe that vaguely resembles her slippers. The earrings were a gift brought back by my parents from Dubai, so they seemed like a great match for her style, plus this chunky blue ring matches the colour palette – both are large pieces, so I skipped adding any other jewellery. My hair is nowhere near as thick as Jasmine’s, but I did this low, twisted ponytail to sort of resemble hers, and finally, chose to emphasis the eye makeup, with some shimmery shadow and thick winged eyeliner, to make it a little more glamorous, for her princess status. And I happened to have this nail polish on anyway, which is also a perfect colour match!
