Outfit – Birthday Party
Well, it’s been a while since my last outfit post, hasn’t it? I’m not working to such a strict schedule for posting as I used to, as although it did make me post regularly, I felt I was starting to sacrifice quality for the sake of quantity. But anyways, it was my birthday party last weekend, so I figured I’d share the outfit I chose for that. It wasn’t a ‘party’ as such, rather just a bunch of friends going out to a couple of pubs for the night. They’re locations I’ve been to before, pretty regularly, so it wasn’t anything too fancy or exciting, but I wanted to dress up a little more than usual since it was a more special occasion. This dress is a favourite of mine, as I love the colour and lace patterns, and it’s comfortable to move around in. The boots are also my standard going out shoes, comfy as well as cute. The cardigan and tights are a must for Scottish winter weather these days. And the jewellery was some of my favourite pieces too, all silver to match each other, with the rings being the ones I wear all the time, and the earrings are just big and fun. I liked the idea of the ‘tree of life’ symbolism as I get older as well!
