Floral designs have been everywhere in recent years, but it’s not a trend that I’m a huge fan of. There’s some nice stuff out there, and it looks good on some people, but it’s never really been for me. This dress is my exception though; I love the dark colour scheme, which falls in my usual spectrum, as I often kinds florals too cute and girly for me, so this gives it a touch more edge. It’s also light and easy to move in. I paired it with the black flats to keep its delicate touch, but still countering that with dark colours in the tights and jewellery. The necklace is a little bolder than usual for me, but I think it sits well in the neckline of the dress.
