Outfit of the Day - Ready, Set, Ceilidh | Just Muddling Through Life

This was my outfit of choice for a friend’s 21st birthday ceilidh. Ceilidhs are fast and energetic, so the number one priority is wearing something that’s easy to move in. I thought this dress was light and playful enough for the dancing, while still being formal enough for such an important birthday. I kept the jewellery minimal, since the dress has such pretty lace detailing, and flat shoes are a must for me at ceilidhs – there’s no way I can do them in heels! I did have a bag and jacket with me too, but they spent most of the evening on a chair.
