Outfit – Turquoise Tranquility
20 July 2015
First of all, I didn’t have time to take any proper outfit photos before we left so these were all snaps from throughout the day. Anyway, this was what I wore to my cousin’s wedding at the weekend – some of you may remember I went to a couple of weddings last summer, and my outfit is pretty different this time around! I love blues and greens, and just thought the colours and patterns of this are lovely, and very appropriate for summer. The cut of the dress is not my usual style (nor is floral really), but I’m so glad I gave it a try, as I ended up loving it! It feels more formal than the floaty/skater style I had last year. Many of my accessories were re-used from last year, such as the jacket and shoes, and my black clutch bag, which isn’t in these photos but you can see it in last year’s post. I also took the chance to wear some of my Guatemalan black jade jewellery, since it matches so well, and the fascinator came courtesy of my aunt’s business – I left the dress with her, and this is what she came up with! Though from what I know, fascinators and hats at weddings seems to be a mainly Scottish tradition? I’m certainly nearly always expected to have one!
Dress – Warehouse (Asos), Jacket – Debenhams, Shoes – Anna Field
