Outfit – Light Layers

     Today’s outfit was put together when Scotland got a few days of uncharacteristically warm weather for this time of year, and got me thinking ahead to summer. I like this cardigan/shrug thing (suggestions for what to call it?) because it adds an extra layer to the outfit to make it more interesting, but is still loose and light for in the sunshine. I’ve mixed together more colours than I normally do, but I think it’s something about the sun that just makes me want to dress brighter! The boots are perhaps a little out of place in warm weather, but sometimes I’m guilty of doing something like that for the sake of a good outfit, and I love the boots and skirt combination. I’m also still wearing tights here, as I don’t trust Scottish weather, so black tights would be another option. Overall, one of my more scatter-brained outfits, but I still like how it turned out!
