Outfit of the Day – Aztec Inspiration

      I’ve never been one for following fashion trends and wearing what’s in style, but every now and then what I like and what’s in style overlap – in this case, Aztec prints. I love the pattern and the colours in this dress, and it’s a very lightweight, summery garment. Scottish summers are notoriously fickle though, so the leggings make this a slightly more practical option, as do the boots. As usual, much of my jewellery comes from markets and tiny boutiques – here, I like the contrast between the purple earrings and the green dress, and the black ring is Venetian glass, a purchase from my recent European trip.
