Outfit – Spring Sunshine

     So last weekend in Edinburgh we had some of the best weather I’ve seen in a long time, perfectly timed for Easter weekend. It was warm and sunny, so it was time to bust out some spring/summer clothing. I got this dungaree-style dress on sale recently and wanted to wear it out for the first time, with just a simple white top underneath, for a fun, youthful sort of look. But, I think the checked shirt around the waist stops it being too ‘innocent’, and gives it a little bit of an edgier detail. The Converse work for both the playful, and grungier elements I was trying to combine. I got this necklace back in South Africa, a ‘tree of life’, perfect for Earth Day this week, and the rainbow colours continue the playful theme. I always stick to light, natural makeup in warm weather too!
