Outfit – Summer Colours

     This was an outfit I wore a few times while travelling last month, and continues to serve me well back home. I love the bright patterns of the top, which seem so appropriate for summer, and it as very light and easy to throw on while abroad. To some, leggings in summer may seem odd, but they were great for rain and mosquitoes in Central America, and are a wise choice in our unpredictable Scottish weather! These espadrilles are also very summer-inspired to me, and are very comfortable to slip into (though less ideal if you’re walking a lot). For travelling, I tried to create outfits that were comfortable, but still looked nice, rather than slobbing out too much! The jewellery is more for home though, I didn’t wear much while away, for fear of losing it! Finally though, I chose the earrings based on the colours in the top, and, if you haven’t seen my holiday haul post, this bracelet is inlaid with real lava from a volcano I hiked in Guatemala!
