Outfit – Ruby Red

     So this outfit started off with the boots! I got them a couple of months ago and I’m a big fan! They’re certainly not practical for day to day wear, so I won’t be wearing them that often, but they’ll be great to whip out for something fancy once in a while! One of the straps on each is long and hangs loose though – still figuring out how to secure that so it’s not flapping about all time… Since they’re so bright, I kept everything else neutral, in black and grey. The jeans are also new, and I really like their rip pattern – though I’ll have to try to not pick at them and ruin that! The top I’ve used a few times before, with a black bralette underneath, so I think the whole look is definitely dressier than daily wear, but not that formal either. I stuck with that theme for the jewellery too, with these larger, statement pieces. And I didn’t want a lipstick that matched the boots too closely, instead opting for this subtler brick red shade.
